Modern Grey Bathroom Renovation

We completed this bathroom renovation in Manchester, creating a clean, modern bathroom with a strong grey-and-black colour scheme. Large-format tiling, matt-black fittings and contemporary lighting give the compact space a smart and stylish finish.

Before the Renovation

The bathroom required a complete refresh to create a more practical and modern space. With a narrow layout, careful planning was important to make the best use of the available room without making it feel overcrowded.

Planning & Design

The new design focused on a simple, modern layout with a spacious shower area and coordinated finishes. Light grey wall tiles, darker flooring and matt-black fittings were selected to create contrast while keeping the bathroom bright.

What we did for this project

Grey Wall & Floor Tiling

Installed modern large-format grey wall tiles throughout the bathroom, complemented by darker grey floor tiles for a clean, coordinated finish.

Walk-In Shower Installation

Fitted a low-profile shower tray with a clear glass enclosure, creating a practical and spacious walk-in shower area.

Black Rainfall Shower

Installed a contemporary matt-black rainfall shower with a matching handheld shower attachment, giving the shower area a striking modern finish.

Basin & LED Mirror

Fitted a white pedestal basin with a matt-black mixer tap and added an illuminated LED bathroom mirror above for a clean, modern look.

Black Heated Towel Rail

Installed a tall black heated towel radiator, matching the shower and basin fittings while providing practical bathroom heating.

Ventilation & Finishing

Added an extractor fan and carefully finished the tiled window surround and boxed areas to maintain a consistent finish throughout the bathroom.

The Finished Result

The finished bathroom is modern, practical and easy to maintain. The combination of grey tiling, black bathroom fittings, rainfall shower and LED lighting creates a smart contemporary look while making good use of the compact space.
