Cloakroom & Small WC Renovation

We completed this cloakroom renovation in Manchester, creating a smart and practical space with a mix of traditional bathroom fittings and modern finishing details. Feature wall tiling, a classic pedestal basin, illuminated mirror and chrome towel radiator give this compact WC plenty of character.

Before the Renovation

This compact WC required a fresh, more coordinated finish that would make better use of the available space. The aim was to keep the room practical while introducing attractive tiling, updated sanitaryware, improved heating and better lighting.

Planning & Design

For this small bathroom renovation, we used the lower half of the walls as a feature area while keeping the upper walls light and simple. This helps add character without making the compact room feel too busy.

What we did for this project

Feature Wall Tiling

Installed alternating grey and white rectangular tiles around the lower section of the room, finished with a slim metallic trim for a neat, decorative edge.

New Basin & Traditional Taps

Fitted a classic white pedestal basin with separate traditional-style taps, giving the cloakroom an elegant finish.

WC Installation

Installed a new traditional-style close-coupled WC that complements the basin and overall design.

LED Bathroom Mirror

Added a large round illuminated LED mirror above the basin, providing useful lighting while creating a modern focal point.

Heated Towel Radiator

Installed a tall chrome heated towel radiator, making practical use of the narrow wall space while providing bathroom heating.

Flooring & Finishing

Finished the room with large neutral stone-effect floor tiles and light painted walls, keeping the compact space bright and easy to maintain.

The Finished Result

The completed cloakroom is compact, practical and full of character. The combination of feature tiling, traditional sanitaryware, modern LED lighting, and chrome finishes creates a stylish room without overcrowding the available space.
