Compact Ensuite Bathroom Renovation

We completed this small bathroom renovation in Manchester, creating a clean, modern and practical space with a strong black-and-grey design. Stone-effect tiling, matt-black fittings and a full-height shower enclosure give the bathroom a smart contemporary finish.

Project Brief

The aim was to make the most of a narrow bathroom layout without making the space feel cramped. We used a simple layout, neutral tiling and coordinated black fittings to keep the room practical, stylish and easy to maintain.

Planning & Design

The bathroom was planned around a full shower enclosure, compact vanity and WC, making efficient use of the available floor space. The black fittings were used throughout to create a consistent modern look.

Stone-Effect Wall & Floor Tiling

Installed large-format grey stone-effect tiles across the walls and floor, creating a clean and coordinated finish throughout the bathroom.

Black-Framed Shower Enclosure

Fitted a full-height black-framed glass shower enclosure with a low-profile tray, creating a practical shower area without overcrowding the room.

Matt-Black Shower & Fittings

Installed a modern matt-black shower system, basin tap and matching fittings to give the bathroom a bold contemporary style.

Vanity Unit & Basin

Added a compact dark vanity unit with an integrated white basin, providing useful storage while keeping the layout neat.

Mirror Cabinet

Installed a large mirrored wall cabinet above the basin, adding both storage and helping reflect light around the narrow space.

WC & Heated Towel Rail

Fitted a modern close-coupled WC and black heated towel radiator, keeping the bathroom fittings coordinated.

The Finished Result

The completed bathroom is compact, modern and practical. The combination of grey tiling, black shower enclosure, matt-black fittings and dark vanity furniture gives the room a clean and stylish finish while making good use of the available space.
